Golden Bear Tournament Parking

There's always a lot of trouble when it comes to parking in Berkeley, mostly because the meter maids are so good at their job. This page is designed to try to alleviate some confusion and save you parking tickets come tournament time.

The parking meters are checked on Saturday. The image below shows streets that do not have parking meters. The arrows indicate the direction of one-way streets. Dots indicate non-metered sections. In a nutshell, park anywhere but along Bancroft Way or Durant Avenue.

Parking meters are not checked on Sundays. Feel free to use any available street parking.

If you cannot find or don't have the time to find street parking, there are a couple of nearby parking lots to use, but they all cost money.

RSF Parking: Parking lot located directly under the RSF. Entrance is on Bancroft Way, near intersection with Ellsworth Street. Limited number of parking spots. $1/hour

Tang Center Parking: Right across the street from the RSF. Located between Bancroft Way and Durant Avenue, also between Ellsworth Street and Fulton Street. Outdoor parking, pay at a machine located in the lot.

Durant Parking Structure: Entrance is on Durant Avenue, between Dana Street and Telegraph Avenue. Parking structure with multiple floors. You get a ticket on your way in and you need to pay before getting back into your car.
